Once I was your hero,
Promised forever and a day.
Sad eyes reflecting, two times two,
Somehow hands held slipped away,
And love moved another way.

Starlight on waves that swayed,
Misty cloud dreams from the first of days.
Thus glowing comet trails pulsed as if to say:

“Night fades into day,
For only Moonlight remembers
when two hearts played.”

I started writing late in life, approximately 65 years old, as I finally had both time and head space.
My inspirations come from relationships past and present, as well as from music and literature both popular and classical.
My first poem ”Love’s Longings” was written July 2013.

I share a blog ”Promise of Change” with my brother Christopher:
