We are thrilled to present you with this year’s Pushcart nominees! The NY Literary Magazine has nominated the following poems for the prestigious Pushcart prize:
“Mr. Buckles” by Jennifer Criss
“Here We Remain” by Tina Marie Winslow
“Lying with the Angels” by Tina Cox
“War’s a Waste” by Glen R Baker
“Little Angel” by Katie Lynn
“Falling Down a Tunnel” by Camille Sharon
What is the Pushcart Prize?
The Pushcart Prize was named among the most influential projects in the history of American publishing by Publishers Weekly. Since 1976, it is the most honored literary project in America.
Only literary magazines or presses can nominate writers for this prize.
Each year, from among all the thousands of submissions we receive, we nominate 6 of the best poems or short stories for the Pushcart prize.
Are you a talented writer? Submit your poetry or short stories to the NY Literary Magazine for a chance to be published in our print anthologies and be nominated for next year’s Pushcart prize.
She has the final say over what gets published in the magazine and who wins the poetry contests.
